2009 Annual Golf Tournament

The Pond hosted the annual Charity Golf Tournament on September 23rd 2009 at Nobleton Lakes Golf Club. Over 144 Ganders and guests attended a beautiful fall day of fun and camaraderie. Tourney Directors and Laurel DiMaso are commended on an excellent job in arranging the event. Thanks to Tourney assistants Dora Frantzis, Hans Boehler, Max Brugger, Marlene Pike and Shannon Payne. As a result of their efforts and the generosity of our sponsors a donation of $5,000 was made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. MLG Alwyn as Master of Ceremonies at dinner presented the following awards: Men’s Low Net - Brian Daniels-Men’s Low Gross - Tim Boodram-Ladies Low Net - Michelle Delonge-Ladies Low Gross - Leanne Kodama and the Ball Winners were Giovanni Rocca, Ashley Chinner, Marguerite Locke and a mystery 4th. The MLG acknowledged distinguished PMLG’s present as well as Martin Moram PMLG, WGQ Edmonton Pond and soon to be WGQ Ontario Pond.
