Two Ganders Take The Long Last Flight

It is with great sadness that the Ontario Pond announces that we lost two Life Members in the month of May 2011. Gerry Cleary joined the Pond in 1959 and was a prominent member of the independent adjuster community, was a Past President of the OIAA passed away May 27th 011. Douglas Woodall joined the Pond in 1956 who was an icon in the construction restoration business passed away May 7th 2011. Doug’s daughter Sue Whittick related although her Dad had been suffering from severe Alzheimer’s for many years the simple mention of the words “Blue Goose” always brought a twinkle to his eye and grin from ear to ear. Both will be remembered at the Grand Nest Convention Memorial Service in Grand Falls Michigan this July along with Gander Doug Hurlbut who passed away in January.
